The title says it all! I raced, I drank beer and I danced! The Torchlight 5K was easily my favorite 5K I have ever ran! I had high expectations based on what I had heard from others who ran it. And it lived up to every part!

Highlights:

Multiple packet pick-up locations at various Life Time Fitness in the metro

Gear check at start line and transferred to finish area

A few fun photo props

The shirt and medal GLOW IN THE DARK

Parking was available in the nearby ramps surrounding the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Fast, flat course that follows the Aquatennial Parade route with so many spectators

Free pizza and beer post-race

Fantastic band

Complimentary shuttle back to start line

I had so much fun at this race! It was my first race that started in the evening, and had such a great Finish Festival!

I would hands-down recommend this race! I can't wait until 2020!
